ONJ undertook an ethnographic research project to understand what ‘wellness’ really meant to their patients and staff. The data from this research activity was compiled into a report and from this a new Vision Statement was developed. The Tactile Tools™ workshop developed as a way of breaking down this statement into operational chunks so that key staff could truly understand and role model its meaning. The workshop took the first step in addressing this broader aim by starting to ‘unpack’ how the new mission statement could be embedded into the daily practices of ONJ clinical and allied staff, patients, carers and other stakeholders.
